Splitit is a payment method that you can select during the checkout screen. It enables our customers to pay for their order with an existing credit card by splitting the value of their purchase into interest-free, monthly payments. No need for additional registrations or applications.
At the time of purchase, Splitit will check if you have enough balance on your credit card to cover the full cost of your purchase. It is a hold on the funds, just like when you check in to a hotel. Once Rad Power Bikes confirms your order, Splitit will only charge you for the first monthly installment. The remaining balance will be held on your credit card until the final payment is made. After each monthly payment, the amount held from the available balance will be reduced to the new remaining balance.

A customer is free to choose the duration of their monthly payments. Upon checkout of your Rad Power Bikes purchase you have the option to choose from 2 - 12 month installments.
Absolutely! There is no penalty for paying your purchase off early.
By selecting the “Splitit” payment option on the Rad Power Bikes checkout page, you agree that Splitit can take payments from your eligible card in the number of payments that you have selected at the checkout (these are known as “Instalments“). The amount of each Instalment will be shown on the website before you complete your purchase and emailed to you immediately after you complete your purchase.
The first Instalment is taken when you complete your order. Each subsequent Instalment is then taken monthly until the entire amount due under this agreement is paid.
Once selected, Splitit payment terms are final and cannot be modified.
Absolutely! Splitit complies with Visa, Mastercard, and UnionPay operating standards. They are PCI – DSS level 1 compliant and use communication security technology (single-socket layer/ SSL) to keep your information safe.
Each month, your credit card statement displays the installment charge amount for that month, along with the merchant name. You will also see the authorisation for the outstanding amount dropping by one installment. In addition, Splitit will email you after each successful installment charge.
*Note that the held amount might show as ‘pending transaction’ on your credit card statement.
*A minimum order value of €200 is required for you to qualify for Splitit monthly installments.
With Ebike leasing, you pay a monthly amount to rent the bike plus maintenance, without ownership. This is a system that works very well for people who need flexibility. Splitit is a payment method where you split the payment of your bike over a maximum of 12 months. You own the bike upon purchase, but pay the full cost over an amount of months that suit you, and without interest.
When adding the bike to your cart you will see the full cost of the bike, in addition to, the Splitit price on the right-hand side of the screen. You will go through a normal checkout process, and on the final payment page, you will have the option to select Splitit as a payment method. After clicking “Complete order”, you will be redirected to Splitit: Monthly credit card payments - no fees to complete your purchase securely.
As Splitit uses your existing credit on your credit card, rather than new credit, there is nothing for Splitit to report back to credit reference agencies so your credit score is unaffected.
Your card provider simply sees the individual installment charges each month. If one of your payment authorizations or payments is declined, there is still no effect on your credit rating; it is simply a declined charge.
If you use your credit card to pay your installments, we help you keep the amount you owe on your credit card down as your credit card company only bills you for your monthly Splitit installment charges rather than the whole amount owed.
