How does it work?

Splitit is a payment method that you can select during the checkout screen. It enables our customers to pay for purchases with an existing credit card by splitting the cost of their Rad Power Bikes purchase into interest-free monthly payments. No need for additional registrations or applications.

At the time of purchase, once Rad Power Bikes confirms your order upon checkout, you will only be charged for the first payment. The remaining balance will be held on your credit card until the final payment is made. After each monthly payment, the amount held from the available balance will be reduced to the new remaining balance.

How many monthly payments will I need to make?

A customer is free to choose the duration of their monthly payments. Upon checkout of your Rad Power Bikes purchase you have the option to choose from 2 - 12 month installments. 

How do the instalments work?

By selecting the “Splitit” payment option on the Rad Power Bikes checkout page, you agree that Splitit can take payments from your eligible card in the number of payments that you have selected at the checkout (these are known as “Instalments“). The amount of each Instalment will be shown on the website before you complete your purchase and emailed to you immediately after you complete your purchase.  

The first Instalment is taken when you complete your order. Each subsequent Instalment is then taken monthly until the entire amount due under this agreement is paid.

Once selected, Splitit payment terms are final and cannot be modified.

Is it safe?

Absolutely! Splitit complies with Visa, Mastercard, and UnionPay operating standards. They are PCI – DSS level 1 compliant and use communication security technology (single-socket layer/ SSL) to keep your information safe.

How do I track my payments?

Each month, your credit card statement displays the installment charge amount for that month, along with the merchant name. You will also see the authorisation for the outstanding amount dropping by one installment. In addition, Splitit will email you after each successful installment charge.

*Note that the held amount might show as ‘pending transaction’ on your credit card statement.

 *A minimum order value of €200 is required for you to qualify for Splitit monthly installments.

What if I want to extend or change my billing plan?
